This weekend
is President’s Day weekend.
Beginning in 1971, the
Congress declared the third Monday in February each year to be Presidents Day
so that American can enjoy a three - day weekend.
This weekend
is probably the busiest in Palm Springs and the greater Palm Springs area
history.
By now you
know President Obama is coming to Palm Springs for the weekend.
This will be
the President’s fourth trip to the Coachella Valley in less than two years. We
do not know his schedule or how long he will be in Palm Springs and the greater Palm Springs area.
We do know,
however, that a Presidential visit can impact upon your plans.
Because the
weekend will be so busy it is time for you to consider what you’re going to do.
The Palm
Springs Guru will be bicycling, on Saturday, Valentine’s Day with approximately
8,000 bicyclists in the 17th Annual Tour de Palm Springs. http://www.tourdepalmsprings.com I hope you can join us.
